Pa-Ib has been a source of scientific study ever since she arrived at the Barnum Museum over one hundred years ago. Painted on the outside of many coffins was the wedjat, or false eye of Horus, so that mummies could continue to look out into the world. Perhaps Pa-Ib is just as fascinated with the process of scientific inquiry as we are.
