The original paperwork on this artifact states: necklace from the chest of an Egyptian mummy. This necklace is most likely a late nineteenth or early twentieth century implementation of Egyptian beads taking into consideration that no stringed piece of jewelry would have survived this long and many items were repurposed after an unwrapping party.
