Teaching Tom Thumb and Disability
Visit Disabilities Studies for Teachers for a unit on Barnum, Tom Thumb, and Lavinia. The lessons provide primary and secondary sources to examine the displaying of disabled people in the mid-19th century. The website was created by the Center for Human Policy at the Syracus University.
